Stachys officinalis 'Hummelo', better known as Hummelo Betony, is a lovely, large, round mound of rich green, long, narrow foliage, and spikes of lavender rose flowers. Blooms from July to August. This purple betony is quite impressive as a specimen, but even more so when grouped or massed. Hummelo Stachys is low maintenance, and easy to grow. It will perform well in sun or partial shade. Deer and rabbit resistant.
