Kingspan Thermaroof TR27 100 mm Flat Roof PIR Insulation Board (1200 mm × 1200 mm, Pack of 4 – 5.76 m²) Product Overview Kingspan Thermaroof TR27 100 mm (1200 mm × 1200 mm) Flat Roof PIR Insulation Board is a premium rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board designed for warm flat roof systems in new-build and refurbishment applications. Suitable for fully-adhered, mechanically-fixed, and partially-bonded roofing systems, it is compatible with single-ply, bituminous, and liquid-applied waterproofing membranes. With a low thermal conductivity of λ = 0.022 W/m·K, the 100 mm board delivers high insulation performance, helping to meet stringent building regulation requirements for thermal efficiency. Key Features & Benefits High-performance PIR core with excellent thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/m·K for superior insulation efficiency. Durable low-emissivity foil facings enhance thermal resistance and moisture protection. Suitable for use in fully-adhered, mechanically-fixed, and partially-bonded warm roof systems. Large 1200 mm × 1200 mm board size enables fast, efficient installation over large roof areas. High compressive strength (≥150 kPa at 10% compression) ensures structural stability under light foot traffic and fixings. 100 mm thickness delivers excellent thermal performance to support compliance with current building regulations. PIR core ensures long-term durability and consistent insulation performance throughout service life. Produced under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 certified quality, environmental, safety and energy management systems. Applications / Typical Uses Warm roof insulation in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. Suitable for installation beneath single-ply, liquid-applied, and bituminous waterproofing membranes. Ideal for both new-build and refurbishment roof projects where high thermal values are required. Can be installed over concrete, metal, or timber structural roof decks with suitable vapour control layers. Installation & Handling Store insulation boards flat in a dry and covered area prior to installation. Do not use boards that are damaged or have absorbed moisture. Lay boards tightly-butted with staggered (break-bonded) joints to maintain thermal continuity. Fix boards using appropriate mechanical fasteners or adhesives according to roofing specification. Install a vapour control layer where required to prevent moisture ingress into the roof build-up. Apply waterproofing membranes in accordance with the membrane manufacturer’s installation guidance. Ensure continuity of insulation at edges, upstands, and penetrations to reduce thermal bridging. Compliance & Certification Manufactured to BS EN 13165:2012 A2:2016 for rigid PIR insulation boards. Declared thermal conductivity: λ = 0.022 W/m·K. Reaction to fire classification: Euroclass F (System 4 AVCP). Compressive strength: CS(10Y)150. Covered under BBA Certificate 16/5332 for the Thermaroof TR27 range. Produced under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 certified processes.
