Strathmore 300 series is a better quality paper, designed for quick studies and to practice techniques with many media types. It is also suitable for final artwork by beginner or student artists. Bristol smooth has a very smooth, hard surface. This makes it suitable for use with penning mechanical pencils, airbrush or even markers.The paper has a flat surface with little to no tooth.
